Palm Reading

The art of characterization and foretelling the future through the study of the palm is called Palmistry or chiromancy. This practice, also known as palm reading or chirology is found all over the world, with numerous cultural variations and is regarded as a pseudoscience.

Palmistry originated in India and spreaded to China, Tibet, Egypt, and Persia and to other countries in Europe. The Hindu sage Valmiki is thought to have written a book on Palmistry consisting of 567 stanzas. The book’s title translates in English as “The Teachings of Valmiki Maharishi on Male Palmistry”. From China, palmistry progressed to Greece where Anaxagoras practiced it.

The art of Palmistry owes its root from India in Astrology, Chinese Yijing, and Roma fortune tellers. However, modern palmists often combine traditional predictive techniques with psychology, holistic healing, and alternative methods of divination.

Astrology and Palmistry are complementary to each other and objective of both of these branches of occult science is the same. Palmistry is the physical and astrology is the mathematical part of the science. A correct horoscope of a person shows huge similarities between the characteristics and the palm prints. Therefore, to cast an accurate prediction from the horoscope of a person, the astrologer needs to take a view of the palm print of the person concerned. Palmists can do predictions even for people with unknown birth profile.
